“The Winding Way of Healing”
Healing doesn’t move in a straight line.
It loops, it pauses, it backtracks. It surprises us with sudden light, and then shadows again. Just when we think we’ve “moved on,” something rises in the body - a tightness in the chest, a fatigue in the bones, a familiar ache that reminds us: you’re still healing.
And that’s okay.
Because growth, real, embodied, sustainable growth, rarely follows a tidy timeline.
It’s more like a spiral than a ladder.
More like a tide than a road.
Some days, your body may feel strong and steady.
Other days, it might ask for deep rest, gentle movement, or stillness.
Your job is not to force it into shape, but to trust its wisdom. To tend instead of fix.
To ask:
What needs care today?
Where am I holding grief, tension, fear - or even hope?
How can I meet that place with compassion, not critique?
🌱 Reflection Prompt
What part of your body - or your heart - is calling out for healing today?
How can you slow down, listen, and offer it the patience it deserves?
Let the journey be what it is: uneven, sacred, and still unfolding.
You’re not behind. You’re not broken.
You’re becoming.
