There’s a sacred moment between feeling and response, a quiet threshold where understanding can grow. When we pause at that threshold, we give ourselves the chance to respond rather than react, to engage with life from a place of wisdom rather than reflex.
Emotions can be intense. They rise quickly, pulling us toward action. But not all feelings ask to be acted on, some simply want to be heard. When we give ourselves time to sit with what we’re feeling, we often discover there’s more beneath the surface: a deeper truth, a gentler perspective, or an unmet need.
Today, make space for that pause. Don’t rush to explain or express. Just listen...first to yourself. Let your emotions speak fully before deciding what to do with them.
