100 Days of Healing – Day 8: You Are Worthy of Space
“You are worthy of space—physically, emotionally, and mentally. Take up all the space you need today.”
This message has been sitting with me all morning. I don’t know about you, but I’ve spent plenty of years trying to stay small (physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually), even in how I speak or take up time. It’s taken intentional practice (and a whole lot of grace) to remember
...that I am allowed to take up space, AND SO ARE YOU!!! We are as big as the universe. We have that space!Today, I’m inviting you, and myself, to create a little more room in the place where you exsist. Maybe it’s space in your body: a deep breath, a long stretch, or standing a bit taller. Maybe it’s your schedule: saying no to one more thing, or yes to a few minutes of quiet. Maybe it’s space in your mind: letting go of a thought that’s been crowding you.
Creating space is a practice of self-respect. It’s how we tell ourselves: “I matter. My needs matter.”
Reflection Prompt:
How can you create more space for yourself today, in your body, your schedule, or your mind?
Start small. Even a breath counts. You are not just allowed to take up space. You are meant to.
