Day 94/100 - Be Still and Know

“Be still and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10

In the midst of our busy lives, the invitation to be still is both profound and challenging.

Stillness opens a sacred space where we can feel the presence of God - beyond noise, distraction, and worry.

It’s in this quiet that we come to know God more deeply and receive peace that surpasses understanding.

The Power of Stillness

Stillness is not just physical rest; it is an inner posture of surrender and attentiveness.
When we pause and quiet our minds, we allow God’s presence to speak to our hearts.
This sacred pause nourishes our spirit and restores our soul.

🌿 Reflection Prompt 🌿

🌀 When was the last time you sat in stillness and felt a deep connection to the divine?
🌀 How can you create intentional space for this stillness today?
🌀 What practices help you slow down and become present to God’s presence?

A Prayer for Stillness

Gracious God,
In the midst of life’s busyness, help me to be still.
Calm my restless heart and quiet my mind,
so I may know deeply that You are God.
May Your peace wash over me in these moments of silence,
and may I carry Your presence with me throughout my day.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Small Practices to Cultivate Stillness

  • Set aside 5–10 minutes to sit quietly, focusing on your breath or a simple prayer.

  • Take a mindful walk, paying attention to the sights and sounds without distraction.

  • Use a gentle reminder (like a bell or soft music) to pause and breathe deeply during your day.

  • Practice a short centering prayer: “Be still and know that I am God.”

IStillness is a sacred gift—may you receive it and be renewed.
