Day 37/100 - It's OK to give attention to Your Emotions

Message of the Day:

Trust the validity of your emotions and give them the attention they deserve.

Every feeling you experience is valid. Even the ones you don’t fully understand. Even the ones that feel inconvenient, overwhelming, or out of place.

We often minimize our emotions out of fear - fear of being “too much,” fear of being seen as weak, or fear that if we let the feeling in, it might never leave. But emotions aren’t asking for justification. They’re asking to be heard.

Today, try to notice any impulse to dismiss what you feel. Instead of pushing it down or brushing it off, pause. Listen. Ask, “What is this emotion trying to tell me?” Honoring your feelings doesn’t mean you’re ruled by them...it means you’re human, and paying attention.


Reflection Prompt:
What emotions are you hesitant to acknowledge, and why?
Be honest. Is there fear, shame, grief, or even joy you’re holding at arm’s length? What would happen if you gave that emotion just five minutes of your time and attention?


A Blessing for Today:
May you find the courage to look inward with gentleness.
May the feelings you’ve tucked away feel safe to surface.
And may you remember that nothing you feel makes you less worthy,
Only more real, more open, and more deeply alive.
